This was my final project for the first year of my Digital Design HND. I was tasked with producing an animated title sequence for a fictional TV adaptation of the Hyperion novels by Dan Simmons.
I produced assets in Photoshop and Illustrator, and animated in After Effects. I used a combination of hand-drawn assets, AE effects and stock videos.
This was a lengthy assignment (about 10 weeks). The first weeks were spent on extensive research, the next on sketches, concept art and storyboarding, and the final few weeks on creating assets and animating them.
